About Tonar Music

Tonar Music is an independent classical guitar label based in Maryland. We record and publish the work of a small circle of artists we know well, led by Manuel Barrueco, and we look after every release ourselves, from the session to the package in your mailbox.

The catalog covers solo and ensemble recordings on CD and as MP3 albums, concert films on DVD, and performing editions of the music in print. Many of the sheet-music editions come straight from the recordings, with the fingerings the artists actually use.

Alongside the label, Tonar manages concert tours and special projects for its artists. See Management for the current roster.

We ship worldwide from the United States. Some titles are also stocked by retailers abroad.
